Our Mission

“The FMFCU Foundation is the charitable arm of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union whose primary mission is to collect and distribute funds that support charitable causes and education as well as the implementation of financial literacy initiatives within the community in which FMFCU serves.”

The Foundation receives funding through a variety of sources including, but not limited to, grants, fundraising, volunteers, and partnerships. We use those funds to finance our community outreach in the form of educational support, as well as our financial literacy initiatives. The Foundation is always looking for individuals, businesses, and organizations to help us in our cause. The Foundation’s educational support and financial literacy initiatives would not be possible if it were not for the help we have received.

Our Philosophy

“The Foundation is dedicated to the highest standards of non-profit service to our community.  All overhead costs are paid for by the Credit Union, so that 100% of donated funds go to our programs, not the overhead expenses.”
